Main Contributions
Board Gameplay
Developed nearly all of the gameplay which takes place on the board including, shops, map events, tiles, and more.
Created the main board used in the game which contains specific elements such as random islands which engage the players as they traverse the board.
Tiles & Tools
Created system for traversing tiles on the board as well as an easy way to create new tiles with unique events and properties.
Developers are easily able to create new tiles allowing for the variety of tiles (10+) that are present in the game.
Gameplay Design
Designed the majority of gameplay in order to combine both the Party and Roguelike genres in an interesting way.
Main gameplay loop involves collecting items which increase various player stats in order to gain advantages in Minigames and strengthen the player for the boss at the end of each board.
UI Programming & Design
Created various slick UI elements including the unique blending of 3D models into the player's 2D inventory.
Focused on creating smooth transitions from Game to UI to make sure there are no abrupt interruptions.
Production
Task/Bug Tracking
Using Trello I tracked user tasks and created a space for the team to chose tasks for themselves and take care of current bugs in the project.
Weekly Meetings & Standups
Kept the project's goals in line by conducting 30 minute Weekly Meetings discussing the state of the game.
Standup Meetings were held in order to keep the projects rapid development pace.
